Monthly Archives: December 2009 Sneak peek at Katherine Southard, our beautiful and talented Miss NC, with Santa Clause. My guess is she told Santa she’d like a Miss America crown for Christmas. And even when you act like you were born to be in front of the camera. So as a photographer, you sometimes have to endure a little of this….. to get THIS….  I love a parade. I always have and probably always will.I don’t know if it’s the ‘pomp and circumstance’ or the bright colors of the floats. Maybe it’s the sound of the trumpets and trombones of the bands playing Christmas carols. Or maybe it’s that the Christmas parade signals the start of the Christmas season. […]  I was recently asked to photograph a reception for ISES that was held at the NC Museum of Natural Sciences in downtown Raleigh.
