A Sprink Christmas tradition

There is nothing more special than family traditions during the holidays. Some of my best childhood memories are of special times I spent with my grandparents. I think sometimes we don’t even realize how special those times really were until we’re grown, and so often I wish I had more pictures of those times spent with my own grandparents. So, when I found out the Sprink grandkids were getting together this past Monday to bake cookies with “Gram-Gram”, I knew I wanted to be there to not only join this special Sprink Christmas tradition, but to document it as well. With five grandkids in the mix, they’ve been doing this for several years and it’s something they all look forward to. Four of the five Sprink grandkids (Justin, Jackson, Robbie and Caroline) were there along with my sister-in-law Jill. I’m so glad I was able to be there to photograph the chaos (and taste-test the finished product) this year! The cookies were quite festive (love the red sprinkles on the snowmen that Jackson and Robbie decided was “snowman blood”) and actually pretty tasty! Thanks guys for letting me join you — and for sharing the cookies!

Here’s a quick look at all the fun.
