Downtown Raleigh wedding | Clair + Seth

THAT’S AMORE! Dean Martin sang it best. That’s amore!  He may not have been singing about Clair and Seth’s wedding day, but it certainly fits. In fact, those two little words are all it takes to sum up their downtown Raleigh wedding!

After an eight-month engagement, Clair and Seth married in a beautiful, heartfelt ceremony downtown at Edenton Street United Methodist Church followed by their reception in a private art gallery. For Clair and her big Italian family, the day was all about “amore”. Love that she and Seth share. Love of family and friends who traveled near and far to celebrate with them on this day. Love for strangers exhibited through a generous donation to charity in honor of all of their guests. Love of life and the belief that each moment of each day should be savored and lived to its fullest.

So the next time you hear Dean Martin croon, think of Clair and Seth. For that’s amore!

Clair and Seth ~ Photographing you and your wedding was nothing short of a dream and I wish we could do it all over again! Words just can’t express my gratitude for being trusted to capture the memories of this day and for being welcomed with open arms into your family. I am truly honored and humbled. And I’m “tickled pink” to now call you friends. I wish you a lifetime of AMORE! May your years together be filled with joy and happiness and laughter, just like your wedding day. And may you look back on this day as the one when you loved each other the least! Much love always! OXOX ~R

I just adore this little flower girl’s wide-eyed adoration of Clair. So sweet!

Something blue…shared by best friends on their respective wedding days.

A stunning bride
A sweet Daddy first look…

And a tender moment between Clair and her mom…
One of my favorite things about photographing weddings at Edenton Street is that the couple is always taken to the balcony after the ceremony and they get to watch their wedding guests leave. It almost has that “royal” feel to it.  Ahhh…the look of love!

Clair and Seth used a “wishing tree” for their guest book…they’ll be able to enjoy all the well wishes and words of advice for years to come

It wouldn’t be a Meredith girl’s wedding without “the ring shot”…Meredith Angels are the (second) best! (y’all know State girls are the best!)

Their wedding happened to be on St. Patrick’s Day weekend so….shenanigans ensued….

A special special thank you to my friend and colleague Tanya for photographing this wedding with me! As always, you make weddings even more fun!
