SINCE LAST WEEK’S INSTALLMENT of Fashionista Friday was a recap of my favorite Red Carpet looks from the last 15 years, it is only fitting that today’s post highlights my favorites from Sunday’s awards. Overall, I didn’t particularly think it was the best year for celebrities on the Red Carpet, but there were quite a few standouts.
My favorites of 2013:
Hands down, my absolute favorite was Jennifer Lawrence. She looked like a modern-day Grace Kelly in Christian Dior: understated and elegant. Just a vision!
I thought Anne Hathaway looked stunning in her simple pink Prada gown and gorgeous Tiffany’s necklace.
Charlize Theron was…well…Charlize Theron. Always stylish. Always elegant. Always beautiful, especially in this white Dior with peplum waist!
I thought Jennifer Garner made a great choice with this rich plummy colored strapless Gucci. Gorgeous!
I thought Octavia Spencer looked dynamite in this creamy Tadashi Shoji number. Bravo for proving you don’t have to wear size 2 to look FAB!
Reese looked as gorgeous as always in this Old Hollywood inspired Louis Vuitton gown. Loved the shape. Loved the color. Loved the hair. Loved it all!
My most disappointing of 2013 went to the celebrity who is normally my favorite each year. Halle Berry commented that she was wearing a tribute to James Bond….Sorry girl but you look like Alexis (of Dynasty fame) met Cell Block 32! Big thumbs down to you this year! Here’s hoping you rebound in 2014!
