Just thinking about Hann and Chung-Wei makes me smile. First of all, they’re just so stinkin’ cute together! But more importantly, I just enjoy being around them. It’s safe to say they’re a little more quiet than I – but they’re oh-so-much-fun! There’s never a shortage of good-natured ribbing or loads of laughter when we’re all together. Like during their NC State engagement session when Hann and Chung-Wei both shared the story of how they met (each tells it just a little differently, by the way).
They were both at a party at NC State, where they’re both PhD students. (See…funny, smart and they pull for the right team – what’s not to love?!?). Chung-Wei was determined to get to know Hann better, even if that meant stalking her riding the same bus at the same time just because she was on it (he noticed her at the bus stop from his office window and figured out her schedule). One day he finally asked if she wanted him to drive her home since he had a car (see, he didn’t need to ride the bus!) and, as they say, the rest is history. The two have been inseparable since. They share the same interests, support each other and are totally comfortable and relaxed when they’re together. And it’s a good thing – the two tied the knot last year, so watch for their wedding post to come soon.
