This post has been a long time coming (we actually photographed their session back in March!) and I’m happy to finally share Jackie-Lane and John’s Raleigh Pullen Park engagement session with you. I shared the full story of how they met in their wedding post, but the long and short of it is that they were set up by family members who hatched a plan to lure Jackie-Lane down to Hilton Head (where they live)…in hopes that she and John would meet and fall head over heels in love. And it worked. Not that quickly, but it worked nonetheless. And after a year and a half, John proposed and, of course, JL said yes!

JL and John are one of those couples that you just love to be around. Their love of each other and of life is contagious and their laughter is infectious. And oh, how they laugh! They’re so comfortable and so easy with each other…and that makes the laughter come naturally. You’ll see that that was one of the hallmarks of our session together at Raleigh’s famous Pullen Park.
