greensboro hodgin valley farm wedding photoshoot | jennifer + craig

As promised, here are more images from the awesome ShutterPROS Workshop led by photographer Abigail Seymour held at Hodgin Valley Farm in Greensboro. What I loved most about the shooting part of this workshop – and what was different than most workshops I’ve attended — is that each participant had the opportunity to work directly with the couple, guiding them through the poses that we wanted rather than just shooting what Abigail set up for us. Jennifer and Craig, our real couple for our mock wedding, were so great and so receptive to anything we asked them to do — which i think made for a great experience and some fantastic (imho) images! THANK YOU to you both – and best wishes in your upcoming marriage!

And a big THANK YOU to the following vendors for assisting with this great workshop!

Leigh Pearce of Leigh Pearce Weddings worked her styling magic which made for some fabulous details as seen below!

On the left, the guest favors – which were actually CDs loaded with information we covered in the business portion of the workshop with Abigail! And on the right – the table cards tied onto an old rusty barn gate. I just love the key motif which was part of the theme featured throughout the decor. A close up of the “favors”… i just love this old suitcase holding them! Details found on the grounds of the rustic venue…
There was just something about this old wagon wheel that just spoke to me… and made the perfect “prop” for a shot of a ring — that happens to be none other than my own — thanks honey!! 🙂

Inside the barn where the “reception” was held – i’m totally in LOVE with these table settings! So simple. So stunning!

Closeup view!

The menus for the reception set up….how awesomely southern are those? Styling perfection!

Instead of wedding cake, the couple cut a wedding pie (which we then got to eat! talk about yummypastrygoodness!!) Love the rustic charm in the details of the “pie table”, especially the old iron gate behind the table.

Saying “I DO”… And now for some portraits of the couple – I just love this series of Jennifer and Craig….so sweet and tender! LoveloveLOVE this one!
A favorite! There is a gorgeous old white barn on the grounds — the perfect backdrop for portraits of the couple!

We couldn’t let Jennifer get away without some bridals. Holy hot Betty, Batman! You’re beautiful!

Wow!!! That’s it. Just W.O.W.!

I’m ending with one of my most favorite images of the day…

Many thanks to all involved for making this such a memorable day!
