Sanford Elks Club wedding | Meredith + John

They say the eyes are the windows to the soul…and this is especially true when it comes to love. You can tell how in love a couple is by watching their eyes. When their eyes light up at the mere mention of the other person’s name. When their eyes dance when the other person walks into the room. And Meredith and John have four of the most lighting-up-dancing eyes I’ve ever seen. They’re both a bit quiet and reserved, yet their eyes tell a real love story.

Their wedding day couldn’t have been more perfect. Blue skies with white puffy clouds…a gentle breeze blowing through the trees…and a beautiful site adorned in purple and white flowers outside the most adorable little white country church…all set the scene for Meredith and John to say “I Do.” Friends and family gathered in love and support to watch the two of them join hands, join hearts and join lives. And all the while, their eyes danced.

Meredith and John, thank you for entrusting us to capture your love for each other and for your family. It is an honor to have been a part of your engagement and wedding, and I am so grateful for you and your families. I wish you both a long life filled with all the joy and happiness you can stand. May your eyes never stop lighting up and dancing! Much love… OXOX ~R

As an aside, when Meredith first came to me, I was already commissioned to photograph a wedding on this same day. Since she couldn’t change her wedding date, she opted instead to book with me and utilize one of my associates. So…special thanks to my associates, colleagues and friends Wade Alexander and Anna Kirby for photographing this wedding for me. You totally rocked it!
